Surprise Vacation!
I could never imagine life without my brothers and sister. |
"What in the world am I doing? God this is so FUN!!!" I thought.
"Now!" Dad commanded. Barreling out the door, just as dad commanded, I rolled out bursting into smile and a, "Hi Mom! Andrew! Charlie!" They were speechless and frozen, at least for the first two seconds. Immediate tears were in progress with my mom and in seconds we were all in one big embrace. Haha, I can just feel their hugs now. I couldn't say what a sweeter surprising moment it was.
The surprising wasn't finished however. There were two very special and important people to see yet. My sister and Grandma. Driving in Dad's good ole pick-up truck, my mom and I bought flowers and knocked on Grandma and Grandpa's door. "Oh hello Laura," I heard my sweet grandma say in a calm delighted surprise.
"Good afternoon Vesta," Mom replied. Quickly after mom was invited inside I could hear my mom hesitate for a moment, probably wondering when I would move from my post - literally. I took that as my cue and stepped aside the pillar and smiled. “Hi Grandma <3” I said, choking up. Oh how I can't describe the joy and delight it was to surprise her too. I can still see her precious face. All smiles and tears in one second. It was second’s until we were hugging. Oh my dear reader's she's just one of those rarities the world needs more of. Then again I am a bit biased, but I have to say the it's true ;] The timing of it couldn't have been more perfect neither, for it was a difficult day and one of those days where you need an extra dose of joy. Needless to say the time and day was better than we could have ever planned. Thanks God <3

"I'm sorry but she just left." The manager said. "She just left!?" I thought!
"She's in the parking lot or in her car right now." He said.
"No!!" I kept thinking. "How can she?! Okay, let's get her!" Kindly re-stepping over the broken glass in the entrance we headed towards her car. A few steps out we asked the kid, who obviously worked there, "do you know where Crystal went? I'm her sister."
"Yeah, she's in the bathroom changing." He happily supplied. So, turning back around and apologetically stepping over the broken glass we walked through the restaurant. I knocked on the girl’s door, "I'll be right out." My sister called out! I was quietly squealing with excitement. "Shh" mom laughed out loud. Smiling back at my mom, I crept close to the door, standing-- invasively waiting. The door handle jiggled a few times and then opened. There she was! My dear sweet sister. It couldn't have been timed any better. "Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh!" Hugs, and more "oh my goshes". I love it! I love her.
Um...I just like this picture |
