...Whatever is lovely...

"Speak words of life," my husband was saying the other day. As I pondered this, the thought carried over into another thought, "think life" too. 

If you are similar to me, that is easier said than done. Especially when there is much burdening your thoughts and emotions. 

This afternoon, as my heart grew heavier with so many things covering a variety of topics, I remembered what I mentioned above. Putting action to "thinking life," I got out my camera and focused on things that are "lovely," also inspired by Philippians 4:8. 

It may not seem like much, but the more you dwell on what is right and true the more at peace your mind will be when processing the tough stuff of life. Perhaps the Lord will even reveal Himself to you in new ways? Perhaps the Lord has something for you to discover as you journey to speak life and think on things that bring life?! That's been the case for me and I certainly believe the Lord wants to share with you what is on His heart. 

"Finally brothers & sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think on such things." Philippians 4:8
