Central London New Year's Eve

YIKES to say the least. The mass of people was astonishing. I could have lifted my feet off the ground and not fallen an inch; the streets were that packed. However, the 15 minute firework show was breath-taking.-- The light they produced was stunning, I did not want it to end. I dreamt of the day I walk to meet Jesus. I felt like I was getting just a taste of His amazing light. It was beautiful.-- Getting back home was entirely another story. It definitely felt like a scene from a movie. Westminster Abbey and the neighboring buildings added perfect mysterious shadows throughout the rubbish flooded streets. Drunk people laughed and tripped about, couples made out, random old couples walked slowly through the chaos, a few kids ran about, then there were the lone people you felt sorry for because they're alone, plenty of cigar smoke filled the empty spaces, and the dare devils who drove made their way through the masses of people coming from one lane to the next. Everyone walked the same direction to go to the underground tube. Everyone got what they came for. "The show of all shows" to kick-off a new year. It was quite the night to remember.

This is the crowd we're here to reach. These are the people we get to spend time with and love on for only two months. They are so dear to God's heart. With each chime of the Big Ben fireworks exploded from it. At the last chime fireworks went crazy and I'm reminded that the time is NOW. It is time to stop holding back your gifts and talents and use them to bless others. It's time to embrace the day and not worry about the future. It's time to join with our brothers and sisters around the world in prayer. It's time to sing hymns and praises unashamed. It's time to partner with the local body of Christ and to engage others in reaching out to the communities. Let's be the catalyst to a world revival. The world's "eyes" are on London this year for the Olympics. Let's pray a revival happens in London and ask God what He wants to do, and then pray that it does. Let's pray revivals happen all around the world. Let's pray that CNN and FoxNews can only help but share and report on these stories. Let's ask the Holy Spirit to ignite our hearts with one pure and holy passion. It's time to stop doubting and time to believe for great things. "There is no one like our God, Greater things have still to be done in this city" and your city too. It's time to be the difference. It's time to see lives transformed by the saving grace of Jesus Christ. The time is now. What are you going to do?
